A 240m driveway on a rural Grafton property. The brief was a base strong enough for the cattle truck without committing to asphalt yet, so we delivered a compacted roadbase finish that’s been holding line through two wet seasons of test runs.
Table drains on both sides handle storm flow without ponding on the running surface. The concrete crossover at the road end was tied into council kerb and gutter the same week.
Scope of work
- Survey and string-line over 240m of falling grade
- Cut and shape sub-base with table drains both sides
- Roadbase delivery and placement (approx. 95m³)
- Compaction to heavy-vehicle spec with 2% cross-fall
- Concrete crossover at the road interface
