A residential block in Iluka with too much sand on it - the previous build had left a stockpile that needed shifting before the next stage of work could start. We ran a skid steer + tipper combination across the working week to load out, cart and re-stockpile the material at an agreed destination.
Easy enough scope on paper; logistics-heavy in practice - beach-side sand is fine to move but fast to drift back if you stop short.
Scope of work
- Skid steer + tipper load-out of in-situ sand
- Cartage between site and an off-site stockpile location
- Stockpile shaping at the destination for later re-use
- Multi-day scheduling around the homeowner's access
