A 320m³ flood mound on a Maclean residential block. The brief was to lift the finished floor level above the 1-in-100 flood event while still leaving a mowable batter on all four sides. The crew imported select quarry fill from the James Creek yard and placed it in 200mm lifts with compaction tested at every layer.
The build coordinated with the slab and plumbing contractors so penetrations were boxed in before final trim.
Scope of work
- Site survey + setout from the engineer's drawings
- Bulk import of select quarry fill (approx. 320 m³)
- Placement and compaction in 200mm lifts to 95% dry density
- Batter to 1:6 for mowable slope and stability
- Topsoil and turf reinstatement on completion
