Maintenance work on the River Street flood levy in Maclean - one of the visible pieces of civil infrastructure that keeps the town centre dry when the Clarence runs hard. The brief was to top up and spread road base along a section of the levy line and clean down the road and gutters where the works met the carriageway.
A few days on the bobcat, tipper running on the side, finished before the next forecast wet.
