A weekend-shed-sized pad on a sloping Townsend acreage block. Standard scope - the only nuance was a cut-off drain on the upslope face to keep storm sheet flow away from the slab during the wet.
Finish level was within ±5mm across the whole pad; the shed crew started erection the morning after we rolled off.
Scope of work
- 14m × 9m pad cut into the slope on the high side
- Compaction in 200mm lifts to engineer spec
- Final trim to ±5mm with a 4m straight-edge
- Cut-off drain on the upslope face to divert sheet flow
- Spoil placed and battered as a landscaped bund downhill
